Back at the Decker Heights house, from which my dad was moving, I went back to help clear out my room, and though I didn't get very much done, I bounced on the trampoline for a second when I realized it was my last chance to do so as Mr Van was pulling up to the side of the house near my dad's room. I went in to help him, and on the way, found a threaded bolt with a rubber cap at one end: basically an adjustable foot to a shelf or something. I asked Dad if he knew what it was for, but he said no. We looked at it again, and it was made of brass and threaded on the inside as well, with a little ring that screwed into the inner portion. I then realized I had no idea what it was, so wanted to take some pictures and put online to ask people what it was. I imaginined putting a ruler next to it, and another ruler lengthwise, and another ruler and soon found myself looking a Google maps of some guys getting a picture of an animal skin, which was actually the unrolled version of my threaded bolt. Watched as they sorted out the perfect place to get the picture, as the camera was looking down in a forest, they found an open area with just enough room to lay the animal skin down, but it was a bit obstructed by tall reeds, so he walked across the skin to get them out of the way, then threw a yardstick down onto it to give perspective for the picture. The yardstick was just in one little section of the skin, so it must have covered like 30 square feet.

Finally finished and I was down in the forest, now inside a warehouse, and we were like, "when are we going out again for lunch?" and I wanted to tell him I'd have to check my schedule, but he was talking to another guy until I woke up.
