Back in the day I used to make marbles roll down lego rooftops built into stacks and ramps. During my junior (?) year of high school I started making a marble track out of popsicle sticks. I worked on it off and on for years (10?) and loaned it to Maggie when I moved to Japan. I made her another marble track as a thank you, and gave her the first one. Now she has two. I guess; I don't know what she's done with them.
The second one was far more complicated than the first. Far denser tracks, squeezed between tracks and tracks etc. It probably had a lower success rate than the first, but ah well.
Now I'm working on Marble Track Three. To outdo Marble Track 2, I'm going to take pictures during the construction of Marble Track Three, to show exactly how it was made. To outdo that, I'm going to use pipe cleaners shaped like people to "do" the construction.
We'll see how it goes!
Unsolved problems:
- how to make the pics into a movie (without buying new software)
- uploading a portrait (not landscape) video to be hosted online
