BEANS!

My first commissioned painting! Colleen and I chatted, something like this:

 colleen: i really like "yellow" and "alien highway"
 me: People say they look even better in person, so
  Cool!
  Alien Highway is my favorite of the small ones
 colleen: how big are these? is there any way for me to purchase one? and for how much?
 me: Yellow is the FIRST one I painted for this show
 colleen: oh you have the sizes listed
  how much would alone on the alien highway cost?
 me: Yellow is pretty much too big to send to you, it's like heck I dunno.
  It would be $30
 colleen: SOLD
 me: BUt, my sweetest Beans
  it's already been sold
  eeek!
 colleen: noooo!!!!!
 me: I can paint you another one just like it but different
  if you like!
 colleen: how dare you sell your art before consulting meeeee
 me: You can be the first person to commission me to paint!
 colleen: can i commission somethign from you?
  sweet!
 me: I wrote it first!
  hahaha
 colleen: i henceforth commission something from you
 me: Awesome
 colleen: it doesnt have to look exactly like that, but i've just told you 2 that i really like, so
  if you do a hybrid i'll love it i'm sure, and i'll pay!

 me: Would you like to have a completely new design or based on AOTAH or one of the others?
  you wrote it first!
 colleen: i want a hybrid. i want something you make that you just think "colleen" when you see it
 me: Coolio, I'll get right to work
  I can do that
  how big do you want?
 colleen: and that is why i love you
 me: AOTAH and the other small ones are pretty small compared to Yellow, which is like the size of
  6 or 8 of the small ones
 colleen: well i am somewhat familiar with operating in metric after living in portugal, i'd like
  something a little bigger than the 18x14, but maybe only a little bigger. like halfway between
  "AOTAH" and "yellow"
 me: you got it, Beansies!
  how about $50?
  cause Yellow is $100 and the small ones are $30
 colleen: is that including shipping or no
 me: with shipping
  BUT
  I have to roll it up, I'm sure
 colleen: 50 is fine if it includes shipping. i love your work but i'm poor as hell.
  actually hell is richer than me. it has all those rich banking sinners.
 me: sinners!

And I worked on the piece harder than any other. She's gettin' a good price!!!
