Started with the blue streaks, and then didn't know what to do with the painting for a while. I decided to draw around my hand, but didn't want it to look like a childhood thanksgiving turkey drawing, so I used a light to project my hand's curved shadow onto the board.
Took a bit of effort to keep my hand from moving, but generally speaking, I think it turned out okay.
On April 1, 2011, Shadow Lines was purchased by Kelly H for 4000 yen, with all proceeds going to help tsunami recovery in northern Japan. Thank you, Kelly!
