The Yamanote Line loops around Tokyo in an upside down teardrop shape, with Shinagawa nearest the point at the bottom (maybe Osaki is closer, but Shinagawa is bigger so it wins). It features big stations Shibuya, Shinjuku, Ikebukuro, Ueno, Akihabara, Tokyo, and Shinagawa, plus some other stations that are important to me: Takadanobaba, and Harajuku.
