Art:Two mazes to triangles - February 2011
This piece started with red dots, and I thought it might end up like The Pen Slipped, but after drawing the dots, I considered drawing squiggles between the dots. This looked a lot like a maze, so I decided to make it a maze. Then I thought it would be cool if the path was the dark lines, and not the white inbetween the lines. THEN I thought it would be cool to make one maze use the black lines, and the other maze use the white paths.
It seems there will be an inverse proportion of the ease with which one can traverse each path. I'm still considering how to make them both difficult. One idea would be to use the red dots as blockades, for the white paths, but not as paths for the dark lines.
The white triangular shape in the upper center (of the picture) isn't part of the maze per se.
In conclusion, start at one triangle, and try to follow a continuous black line to the other triangle. Then from that triangle, try to follow a white path back to the first triangle.
I hope you enjoy this maze and its title too.
