I bought this cup around 2016, when I was teaching at Toshiba Science Museum. Their drink machine offered paper cups by default so I bought this one to help save paper. I used it there daily until around March 2020 when everyone lost their minds.
What the photos show
A cylindrical ceramic cup with a cream-colored glaze and blue hand-painted botanical design featuring stylized leaves and seed pods. The rim has a russet-brown band. The cup is shown from two angles revealing the painted motifs wrapping around the body. The interior is plain white with a blue rim line.
