Peeps:Lin
I met Lin in Paola's yoga class in August 2010. I told Paola in confidence later, "may I just say, Lin is beautiful.." Paola laughed, agreeing, "yes she is, and she's also very family oriented."
"Meaning she wants a family or she is close to her family?"
"Both. Is that not what you wanted to hear?"
"No, actually, it helps."
In either case, we're going to climb Mt Fuji together on 19 September 2010.

Before the trip, other people had expressed interest in climbing. Each time, Lin said, "sure!" and eventually I was like, "it will either be just two, or three people, or four." She welcomed them by reserving space for three people, as opposed to two.
The day before the trip, Joel said he couldn't go. The other two had never contacted me, so it was just us two, and I was reallly happy about that.
I call climbing Mt Fuji our first date. We kissed and kissed at the top of the mountain. Maybe it was the thin air, or the exertion of the climb, but man I really enjoyed it.
first month
It's now 15 October 2010, and I'm fully committed to Lin; she's the one, and I'm not going to let her go by my own stupidity. If she 'wants' to go, then of course, she is instantly free. But I'm not pursuing any other females, not even by putting them into standby mode. Lin is top notch, and I'm thrilled to be hers.
Miss Tiger 2000s
Today I awarded Lin the Miss Tiger Award for this millenium.
I thought it would be a nice way to say I like her.
Dear Lin Hayashi I am pleased to announce the results of our recent world wide competition. We had many contestants, all of whom showed excellence in some of the categories. meeting Alex
My friend Kana has some nice house plants inside and outside, including some succulents, including a kalanchoe tomentosa or panda plant kalanchoe tomentosa. I love these plants, so I asked Kana about where to get one. She immediately gave it to me! I went to the beach to get some sand and pebbles to fill its little pot, and presented it to Lin on April 1st, 2011 (after attending the pink cow charity auction for tohoku where we raised 150,000 yen!). I named the plant Alex, cause it seems like a good name for a cute plant. He currently lives outside Lin's room on the balcony where he can get good sun most days.
Somewhat freelance
Lin switched to a part-time semi-freelance situation with her job in November 2016. This has given us more time together at home, but more importantly, has helped reduced her work-related stress!
Niigata trip
Right now we are chillin' at Mikako's house in Niigata, and Lin realizes she wants a dog, and a new (smaller) bed, new pillow, new interior paint color. So I may start a list of things Lin wants to buy so we can prioritize them.
