Times:2014.06.02 watching green bridge resurface in Ebisu

first layer of concrete placed on bridge a few days ago

the guys showed me a bit of the sand they are placing on the bridge

here's their big sand mixer

this green powder is really fine

The green liquid is some sort of sealant mixed with the powder

The sand dumped out a hole in the bottom of the mixer and they hauled it upstairs in bags

the sand looks amazingly smooth

finished bridge surface is quite green

I stayed watching long enough that they gave me a souvenier
